Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and execution-driven professional to lead marketplace operations and fulfillment activities across online sales channels and warehouses. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless order fulfillment, strong inventory control, efficient coordination with logistics partners, and continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end operations across online marketplace channels, ensuring accurate and on-time order fulfillment.

- Monitor and maintain inventory health across warehouses and fulfillment centers to proactively prevent stock-outs and overstocking.

- Lead coordination with 3PL partners, transporters, and internal teams for inbound, storage, dispatch, and last-mile operations.

- Ensure compliance with labeling, packaging, documentation, and appointment scheduling requirements for marketplace orders.

- Manage returns and delivery exceptions, including inspection, reconciliation, grading, and refurbishment coordination.

- Conduct and supervise cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain high inventory accuracy.

- Validate GRNs, challans, and dispatch documentation as per defined SOPs.

- Track, analyze, and present operational KPIs related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, warehouse productivity, and turnaround times.

- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.

- Maintain accurate and timely operational data and reports in warehouse and order management systems.

- Act as a key point of contact for operational issue resolution across internal teams and external partners.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Education:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

- Postgraduate qualification in Operations or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.

Experience:

- 5-7 years of experience in marketplace operations, warehousing, logistics, or e-commerce fulfillment.

- Strong exposure to online marketplaces and fulfillment-led business models; experience in fast-paced or high-volume environments is preferred.

- Proven track record of managing 3PL partners and warehouse operations.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong ownership mindset with excellent process discipline and attention to detail.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with WMS/OMS platforms is highly preferred.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Hands-on problem solver comfortable working in high-growth, execution-focused environments.

- Ability to lead initiatives, prioritize effectively, and deliver results under pressure.
