Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager role responsible for end-to-end operational control across supply chain and factory-related activities. The position ensures smooth inventory management, accurate dispatch operations, effective vendor coordination, and disciplined execution of operational processes.
The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily operations, identify bottlenecks, improve systems and workflows, and track performance metrics for management review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory planning, stock accuracy, and material movement across warehouse and storage locations.
- Manage dispatch operations, logistics coordination, and on-time delivery performance.
- Lead vendor and supplier coordination, including follow-ups, delivery timelines, and quality compliance.
- Verify and reconcile billing, invoices, and dispatch-related documentation.
- Define, monitor, and evaluate monthly operational KPIs such as inventory turnover, dispatch accuracy, delays, and operational costs.
- Identify process gaps, operational inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and present regular operational and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, quality standards, safety norms, and cost control measures.
- Coordinate closely with production, accounts, and sales teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Required Experience:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in operations, supply chain, factory, or plant management roles.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Hands-on experience managing inventory, dispatch, logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering goods, or export-oriented operations is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in fast-paced, operationally intensive environments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of inventory control, dispatch processes, and vendor management.
- Ability to analyse operational data, track KPIs, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Effective leadership and team coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and familiarity with operational or ERP systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
