Manager - Operations
Description:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end operational management of a multi-location franchise network. The role requires complete ownership of procurement, logistics, franchise setup, inventory control, SOP development, and day-to-day operational execution.
The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on operational expertise with the ability to design scalable processes and systems to support rapid expansion across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise & Operations Management:
- Own and manage end-to-end operations across multiple franchise locations
- Ensure smooth daily operational execution and adherence to defined standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for franchise operators and on-ground teams
Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Plan and manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, tools, and setup materials
- Ensure timely dispatch, transportation, and delivery of materials to franchise locations
- Coordinate logistics planning to support setup and ongoing production requirements
- Monitor logistics performance and resolve delivery-related issues
Franchise Setup & Onboarding:
- Oversee end-to-end franchise setup including installation, layout readiness, and operational onboarding
- Coordinate with internal design and setup teams for layout planning and configuration
- Ensure readiness of facilities and systems prior to production start
Inventory & Compliance Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across all locations to avoid shortages or excess
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly operational compliance across franchise units
- Track usage, consumption, and replenishment cycles
Process & SOP Development:
- Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Design, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Build scalable and repeatable operational models for future franchise rollouts
- Continuously optimize workflows for cost control, efficiency, and quality assurance
Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement:
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related discipline (preferred)
- 4 to 8 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Franchise Management
- Experience in Food, Agriculture, FMCG, or Fresh Produce operations will be a strong advantage
- Proven experience managing multi-location or distributed operations
- Demonstrated experience in SOP creation, process documentation, and optimization
