Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Operations Director to support the Operations Director in managing daily business operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring organizational goals are met.
- The role involves overseeing workflows, supporting process improvements, ensuring compliance, and assisting with team management for our teams across India & the US while
acting as a key liaison between leadership and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations across departments to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Support technology adoption and system migrations to strengthen operational effectiveness.
Strategic & Administrative Support
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans and operational objectives.
- Support budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization activities.
- Coordinate special projects and ensure the timely delivery of milestones.
- Serve as a liaison between the Management and internal/external stakeholders.
Team & People Management
- Supervise staff on behalf of the Managers in their absence.
- Assist in workforce planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Support employee engagement and development initiatives in alignment with organizational
objectives.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor adherence to operational standards, internal controls, data security, policies, and
regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure quality assurance measures are effectively implemented.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare presentations, reports, analyses, operational dashboards, status report, and performance metrics for review by leadership and the board.
- Communicate updates, priorities, and action plans across teams.
- Ensure consistent and professional documentation of operational activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and workflow/project management tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global work environment with attention to detail.
- Collaborative, reliable, and adaptable with a solution-driven mindset
