Manager - Office of the Managing Partner, Tier 1 Law Firm

We are looking for a high-calibre individual to work closely in the office of the Managing Partners to drive firm-level strategy, leadership priorities, and key initiatives to execution.

This is not an administrative, EA, or PMO role. The individual will act as a thought partner, execution anchor, and follow-through engine-ensuring that ideas and decisions taken at the leadership level are translated into structured action and outcomes.

The role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and leadership support, with high visibility and direct exposure to senior decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Decision Support

- Structure leadership discussions into clear problem statements, options, and action points

- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments

- Prepare briefing notes, short decks, and discussion material for managing partner and leadership meetings

2. Execution & Follow-Through

- Track key decisions taken at leadership and partner forums

- Ensure ownership, timelines, and outcomes are clearly defined

- Proactively follow up with stakeholders to drive closure

3. Coordination & Orchestration

- Act as a central point to ensure cross-practice initiatives maintain momentum

- Bring the right stakeholders together at the right time

- Function as an 'execution anchor' to ensure priorities do not fall off the radar

4. Communication & Documentation

- Draft high-quality internal notes, summaries, and strategic documents

- Help articulate leadership thinking into clear written outputs

- Maintain institutional memory of key decisions and context

5. Data & Analysis

- Work with finance and internal teams to collate and analyse data

- Create crisp, decision-oriented analysis to support leadership discussions

- Translate complex or unstructured information into clear, consumable insights

What We're Looking For

- Exceptional writing and communication skills

- Strong analytical and structuring ability

- High business curiosity and sound judgment

- Comfort operating in ambiguity and evolving environments

- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders

Who This Role Is Ideal For

- MBAs seeking close exposure to leadership decision-making and firm-building

- Ex-lawyers looking to transition into a business- and strategy-facing role

- Strategy, consulting, or founder's office professionals seeking proximity to execution
