Job Title : OEM Sales Manager
Qualification : BE / BTech
Location : Turbhe, Navi Mumbai
Age : 34 - 45 Yrs
Experience : Must have minimum 8 yers of exp in Automotive Manufacturing industry.
Job Responsibilities - OEM Sales Manager
1. OEM Relationship & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers across automotive, EV, and component sectors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial, technical, and supply- chain- related discussions.
- Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and performance meetings.
2. Demand Forecasting & Sales Planning
- Gather and analyze monthly and annual demand forecasts from OEMs.
- Share accurate forecasts with production teams to ensure capacity planning and smooth material flow.
- Monitor demand fluctuations and align internal stakeholders for timely response.
3. New Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential OEM customers.
- Lead RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, cost estimation, pricing proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to convert customer needs into technical specifications.
4. Pricing, Costing & Negotiations
- Prepare competitive quotations, product pricing, and cost- breakup sheets.
- Lead annual rate negotiations and settlement of pricing for new and ongoing programs.
- Handle RM (Raw Material) correction discussions and implement price adjustments with OEMs.
5. Supply Chain & Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate with production, purchase, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure on- time deliveries.
- Monitor delivery performance and ensure adherence to OEM delivery schedules (JIT/JIS, if applicable).
- Resolve supply disruptions, shortages, or delivery bottlenecks proactively.
6. Quality Management & Issue Resolution
- Work closely with quality teams to address customer complaints, rejections, and quality deviations.
- Track 8D reports, corrective actions, and customer scorecard performance for quality and delivery.
- Support customer audits, plant visits, and technical discussions.
7. Business Performance Monitoring
- Analyze sales trends, customer performance, revenue growth, and contribution margins.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, sales dashboards, and management presentations.
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely payment collection; resolve debit note issues.
8. Cross- Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with R&D, production, quality, planning, and finance teams for program development.
- Support engineering changes (ECN/ECO), new product introductions, and project milestones.
- Facilitate internal alignment to meet customer-specific requirements and timelines.
9. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Track competitor pricing, market trends, technology shifts, and product developments.
- Provide insights to management for strategic decision- making and product positioning.
10. Customer Satisfaction & Long- Term Account Growth
- Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, delivery ratings, and quality scorecards.
- Identify areas to deepen business penetration-additional parts, new models, EV platforms, etc.
