New Product Development (NPD) Manager - Personal Care
Location: Nagpur
Reports to: Director
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, personal care/soap/detergent industry.
- Proven track record in sales growth, distribution management, and key account handling.
- Experience in launching and scaling new products in the FMCG sector.
Sales & Market Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of retail, general trade, modern trade, and e-commerce sales.
- Knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis.
- Experience in pricing strategies, trade marketing, and promotional campaigns.
- Developed a Go-to-Market strategy for the new personal care brand, including sales channels and distribution models.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with distributors and retailers.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Strong team leadership, coaching, and training abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in sales forecasting and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), CRM tools, and sales analytics software.
Personality Traits:
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive market environment.
- Willingness to travel for market visits and client meetings.
