
Role Overview:
Own the middle-office layer between the investment desk and operations - security master integrity, investment universe administration, credit and corporate action surveillance, investment restriction monitoring, and stewardship obligations - ensuring the desk operates within SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, AMFI guidelines and internal policy at all times.

What you will do day to day:
- Investment Universe & Security Master: Own creation and review of debt and equity security masters - ISIN static data, coupon and cash-flow structures, call/put and embedded option schedules, issuer and group mapping.
- Administer the approved investment universe in f; ensure additions and deletions flow only from approved Investment Committee / Credit Committee decisions, with audit trail.
- Periodic reconciliation of master data against source documents, exchange, depository and rating agency feeds.
- Investment Restriction & Limit Monitoring: Monitor pre- and post-trade compliance with the Seventh Schedule and SID-level limits - single issuer, group, sector and sub-sector caps, unrated and unlisted exposure, AT1/AT2 caps, derivative gross exposure.
- Track PRC (Potential Risk Class) matrix positioning for debt schemes and flag any drift.
- Maintain a passive breach register with cure timelines; escalate active breaches immediately to Operations, Risk and Compliance.
- Credit & Corporate Action Surveillance: Daily tracking of rating actions across CRAs; maintain a rating movement log with downgrade, watch and outlook escalation to the investment team and Risk.
- Review corporate actions and assess scheme-level impact; coordinate capture with the investment team, custodian, RTA and fund accounting.
- Stewardship & Proxy Voting: Daily monitoring of investee company resolutions; coordinate with the proxy advisory vendor.
- Ensure votes are cast in line with the Voting Policy, quarterly and annual voting disclosures are published within prescribed timelines, and the annual scrutiniser certification is obtained.
- Research Repository & Documentation: Ensure current research reports and credit notes are available for all securities in the universe and in portfolios; maintain a complete, retrievable repository supporting investment rationale.
- Maintain investment rationale documentation for each transaction as required under SEBI norms.
- Broker & Counterparty Management: Empanelment and annual review of brokers and counterparties, with documented due diligence.
- Monitor broker concentration against the 5% aggregate purchases-and-sales norm and brokerage caps; escalate exceptions for Board/Trustee reporting.
- Reporting & Support: Prepare investment MIS for management, Investment Committee, Risk Management Committee and Trustees.
- Support internal, statutory, concurrent, SEBI and trustee audits with data and documentation.
- Any other activity related to investment support.
Who are we looking for:
Education, Experience & Background:
- Years of experience - 3 Year +
- Mandatory Qualification requirement - B.com, NISM VA, NISM XXI certified.
- Working knowledge of equity and debt markets, financial products and valuation conventions.
- Working knowledge of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, AMFI best practice guidelines and circulars.
- Hands-on experience with Mpower or equivalent front/middle office systems; strong Excel.
- Strong team collaboration skills with a focus on driving collective outcomes.
