Manager - MICE Sales
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager - MICE to lead our business development efforts in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions segment.
The role involves generating new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring high-quality event experiences.
The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, experience in the hospitality or event management industry, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to deliver successful events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, generate, and close new business opportunities within the MICE segment, including corporate clients, associations, and event planners
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, agencies, and corporate partners
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored event solutions, including venues, accommodations, logistics, and additional services
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, catering, and finance) to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts for client events
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve profitable deals while maintaining client satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities
- Develop and implement sales strategies, campaigns, and promotional initiatives to achieve revenue targets
- Track sales performance, generate reports, and provide regular updates to senior management
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company's MICE offerings
- Handle client feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally to maintain a positive brand image
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large-scale events
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Excellent relationship management and networking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of event planning processes, budgeting, and logistics
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and events
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international clients or managing cross-border events
- Familiarity with destination management companies, corporate travel, and incentive programs
- Professional certifications in event management or hospitality sales
