Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Consumer Insights:
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor activities in the rice and grain industry.
- Use data-driven insights to identify target markets, consumer behaviors, and opportunities for product positioning and growth.
Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and sales of rice and grain products.
- Identify key growth opportunities in both domestic and international markets and tailor strategies accordingly.
- Set and achieve measurable marketing goals and KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Brand Development & Positioning:
- Oversee the development and positioning of rice and grain products, ensuring they align with the brand's vision, mission, and market needs.
- Create strong, compelling messaging that communicates the unique benefits and value of the products.
- Manage the brand identity and consistency across all touchpoints, including packaging, advertising, and digital presence.
Product Launches & Promotions:
- Lead product launches, coordinating with product development, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure successful market introductions.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including special offers, discounts, and seasonal campaigns, to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce:
- Oversee the digital marketing strategy for rice and grain products, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Manage the company's online presence and optimize e-commerce platforms (e.
, company website, online marketplaces) to increase direct-to-consumer sales.
Sales & Distribution Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop go-to-market strategies, sales materials, and product positioning to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Assist in identifying and securing new retail and distribution partners, both locally and globally.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and meet market demand.
Content Creation & Communication:
- Create and oversee the development of marketing content, including brochures, presentations, product descriptions, and social media content.
- Develop engaging stories and educational content to highlight the nutritional value and versatility of rice and grain products.
Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget for rice and grain products, ensuring that campaigns are executed within budget and that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Track marketing spend and adjust strategies to optimize resource allocation.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights on metrics like brand awareness, consumer engagement, sales, and market share.
- Use analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously improve marketing strategies.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on food products or agriculture (rice and grains experience is preferred).
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in the food industry.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the rice and grain industry, including consumer trends, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media management, SEO, email marketing, and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
