Role Overview:
The IT Marcom Manager will own the planning, execution, and optimization of all marketing communication strategies for technology products and services.
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and creative execution to position the organizations offerings effectively. The individual will ensure consistent messaging, brand alignment, and impactful campaigns across multiple channels while supporting demand generation, sales enablement, and thought leadership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Communication Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute integrated marketing communication strategies to support company goals, product launches, and technology initiatives.
- Align communication plans with sales, product, and technology teams to ensure cohesive messaging and positioning.
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling, business-focused messaging for different target audiences (CXOs, IT decision-makers, end-users).
Content Development & Brand Messaging
- Oversee creation of high-impact marketing content: brochures, white papers, case studies, videos, infographics, email campaigns, and sales collaterals.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels and lines of business.
- Drive storytelling and thought leadership content to position the organization as an industry leader.
Digital & Demand Generation Support
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams to create campaigns across web, social media, SEO/SEM, email, and partner channels.
- Develop landing pages, microsites, and digital assets that align with campaigns and drive lead generation.
- Support account-based marketing and nurture programs through targeted communication strategies.
Internal & External Communications
- Manage corporate communications, press releases, newsletters, and executive communication programs.
- Coordinate with PR agencies, media partners, and industry analysts to strengthen brand visibility.
- Develop communication toolkits and resources for internal teams to ensure message alignment.
Events & Partner Marketing
- Plan and execute marketing communication for technology events, webinars, and conferences (national and international).
- Partner with alliances and technology vendors to co-create marketing campaigns and joint communication strategies.
Analytics & ROI Measurement
- Monitor campaign effectiveness using analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Power BI).
- Report on KPIs such as engagement, lead quality, conversion rates, and content performance.
- Continuously optimize communication strategies based on data-driven insights.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor team members to deliver world-class communication outputs.
- Foster collaboration between marketing, sales, product, and technical teams to align goals and messaging.
- Build scalable processes and frameworks for marketing communications to support organizational growth.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in marketing communications, with a minimum of 5 years in the IT or technology domain.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and emerging technologies (cloud, AI/ML, SaaS, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms: CRM (Salesforce, Zoho), Marketing Automation (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot), Analytics (Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Experience managing external agencies, partners, and vendors.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- Creative mindset with analytical rigor to measure impact and improve outcomes.
