About the Role:

Own the consumer & market insights charter end-to-end and turn it into business impact. You'll plan and run research programs, translate shopper behavior into category/brand actions, and partner with leadership, product/merchandising, retail, and marketing to unlock growth opportunities across offline and ecommerce channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Research Program Ownership: Define the annual insights roadmap (U&A, segmentation, concept tests, pricing, NPS/CSAT, shelf & assortment studies) and manage timelines, budgets, and vendors.

Consumer & Shopper Insights: Analyze multi-source data (primary research, panel/retail audits, POS, web/app analytics) to decode trends, price elasticity, and demand drivers by city, channel, and season.

Business Partnering: Convert insights into action plans for assortment, pricing, promotions, GTM, and store/ecommerce experience; influence leadership decisions with clear narratives.

Experimentation: Design A/B tests and pilots (product, offer, creative, landing/store layouts) and measure impact on conversion, repeat, and sell-through.

Category & Brand Strategy Support: Size markets, map competition, build forecasts, and support launches with pre-post evaluations.

Reporting & Communication: Build executive-ready dashboards and monthly "Insight to Action" packs; run readouts/workshops for cross-functional teams.

Program Management: Drive cross-functional projects to closure; track risks/dependencies and ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements:

- Strong experience in retail footwear / fashion market research, consumer insights, or business analysis with direct exposure to category or brand teams.

- Proven ability to translate data into actionable business plans and influence senior stakeholders.

- Hands-on with quant & qual methods (survey design, FGDs/IDIs, conjoint/MaxDiff a plus) and funnel/behavior analysis.

- Comfort with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets (advanced), Power BI/Tableau, Google Analytics, and basic SQL (nice to have).

- Excellent communication, storytelling, and vendor management skills; bias for ownership and speed.

Success Metrics (What Good Looks Like)?

- Insight-driven initiatives delivering uplift in conversion, repeat rate, sell-through, and inventory turns.

- Faster research cycle times and higher adoption of recommendations by business teams.

- Accurate demand forecasts and measurable impact on launch performance and promo ROI.

Interview Process

Recruiter/HR fit - 2) Case study (insight - action) - 3) Panel with Category/Marketing/Analytics - 4) Leadership round.
