Job Description:

Manufacturing Manager to lead manufacturing operations and ensure efficient, safe, and timely production. The role will be responsible for production planning, process control, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency. The position will ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, and manufacturing procedures. The role will focus on optimizing manpower, machinery, materials, and production resources. The candidate will drive initiatives for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process optimization. The position will coordinate with PPC, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams. The role will identify production bottlenecks and implement effective corrective actions. The candidate will lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day manufacturing and production operations for Power Cable / HT-LT Cable manufacturing.

Develop production plans and ensure timely achievement of production and delivery targets.

Monitor production processes, productivity, capacity utilization, OEE, and operational efficiency.

Ensure adherence to quality standards, manufacturing procedures, technical specifications, and safety requirements.

Coordinate with PPC, procurement, quality, engineering, maintenance, stores, and supply chain teams.

Optimize manpower, machines, materials, utilities, and other manufacturing resources.

Identify production bottlenecks, process deviations, and downtime and implement corrective actions.

Drive initiatives for cost reduction, productivity improvement, material yield, waste reduction, and process optimization.

Monitor raw material availability and ensure smooth and uninterrupted production flow.

Maintain production records, MIS, KPI reports, and operational dashboards.

Lead, train, and develop production teams to achieve manufacturing objectives.

Ensure compliance with applicable EHS, statutory, quality, and operational standards.

Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
