Manager - Manufacturing - Leadership Track Role
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines from reputed institutes.
- MBA/PGDM from a premier B-School with specialization in Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Manufacturing Operations, Production Management, Shopfloor Management, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Excellence, or Operational Excellence.
- Prior experience in Automotive OEMs, Auto Component Manufacturers, Electronics Manufacturing, Industrial Manufacturing, or Engineering organizations will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, production processes, quality management, and operational performance improvement.
- Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System (TPS), Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), TPM, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated track record of driving productivity improvement, cost reduction, quality enhancement, throughput improvement, or waste elimination initiatives.
- Exposure to Manufacturing Digitalization, Smart Factory initiatives, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Manufacturing Automation Systems (MAS), Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, AI/GenAI-enabled manufacturing solutions, Automation, and Advanced Analytics will be highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for operational and business decision-making.
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects involving manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, project execution, and leadership capabilities.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in manufacturing transformation, technology adoption, and future-ready industrial operations.
Key Exclusions:- Candidates with primarily Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Consulting, or Corporate Strategy backgrounds without meaningful manufacturing/shopfloor exposure may not be suitable.
- Chemical and Civil Engineering backgrounds are generally not preferred for this role.
- Candidates should possess geographical mobility and willingness to work across manufacturing locations in India based on business requirements.
