- Ability to develop electronic components of EV battery /EV motors /Speedo meters/head lamps /Tail lamps/Motor control Units /DC DC converters/BMS /ECU/VCU/TCU.

- End of Line readiness, proficiency in CAN communication, In-process test equipment

- Q issues QSR RFT defects elimination, Electronic parts Issue resolution

- Trouble shooting of defects using problem solving tools like 7QC tools, New models Quality (RAR-Run at rate, DRBFM, PRBFM) Why-Why analysis etc

- Capacity generation as and when required in stringent time frame

- Assembly related ECR monitoring and implementation.

Supplier Engagement:

- Ensure sub-assembly process establishment at supplier ends for new component development, new sub-assemblies, with systems, displays of IPO, SOP, Q alerts, Pokayoke check sheets

Process Optimization:

- Analyse and refine manufacturing processes to meet optimal cost and quality benchmarks, including process engineering, component development, tooling procurement. Lead ECRS activities.

Equipment Development:

- Design new machinery and upgrade existing equipment to improve production capabilities and meet new model requirements.

Cost Management Initiatives:

- Conceptualize and lead projects focused on reducing operational costs.

Additional Responsibilities:

Team Management/Documentation:

- Supervise and mentor a team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution. Ensure documentation readiness (TD, BOM, IPO, etc.)

Collaboration:

- Work with cross-functional teams to improve production processes, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Management:

- Proven track record of managing large projects (Material handling automation, MES, PokaYoke, etc.) from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Technical/Functional:

- New product development knowledge

- Knowledge of Software's like Altium & MATLAB for DFM & DFA

- Good process knowledge including PCB handling - fuses /Led/TFT etc

- Good process knowledge of Reflow/Wave Soldering/Robotic Soldering & Manual Soldering

- Ability to prepare process flow for PCB manufacturing

- Experience in handling of quality systems/diagnosis of electronic components for EV application - Battery Charging system, Battery Management System, Motor control unit system, Motors, Charging circuits, Micro controllers, PCB & digital instrument clusters (speedometers)

- APQP/DFA/DFM/DFMEA/PFMEA

- Ability to plan equipment and processes for New products

- Ability to design End of Line and In-Process test equipment

- Ability to do in-process costing and VA & VE

- Understanding of Machine balance / Operator/ line balance

- Lean concepts like VSM / Strategic layout planning / MES / IOT and IOT and digitisation

- Problem solving approach 8D / Six Sigma / SPC / DOE etc

- Ability to plan Automation/Semi-automatic and have experience in handling material handling

- Good knowledge of Product or part where he has experience

- Vehicle manufacturing process & functional knowledge

- Process & facility planning
