Manager - Manufacturing

Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

We are hiring an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead plant operations, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, and continuous improvement. The role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, and a focus on cost, quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, and cost targets

- Develop and implement production plans aligned with business requirements

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory norms

- Drive lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Monitor and improve plant KPIs (OEE, productivity, downtime, scrap rates)

- Lead, mentor, and develop production and shop-floor teams

- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime

- Work closely with supply chain and procurement for material availability

- Implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives

- Drive digitization and automation initiatives within manufacturing processes

KPIs / Success Metrics:

- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

- Production output vs. plan

- Cost per unit and operational efficiency

- Quality metrics (defect rates, rework, scrap)

- Safety compliance and incident reduction

Requirements:

- 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations (automotive preferred)

- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and plant management

- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar frameworks

- Proven leadership and team management capabilities

- Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
