Position: Manager - Manpower Productivity
Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:
The role will be responsible for monitoring construction projects productivity, resource levelling and good understanding of project plans and schedules for construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of standard manpower productivity norms, demonstrated manpower productivity improvement plan with detailed analysis, implementation of innovative project management methodologies for achieving site physical progress targets against plan.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Monitor, analyze daily site work in terms of productivity norms and coordinate with site teams for continuous improvements on daily basis
- Must be well versed in productivity norms for manpower & equipment for preparation of workmen productivity MIS for management and client review for improvements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, and site supervision staff including foreman to plan & control workmen deployment plan and productivity improvement plan.
- Monitor resource usage and optimize allocation to avoid any type of productivity losses and bottlenecks.
- Organize meeting with customer on weekly or fortnight basis on workmen productivity analysis
- Develop and monitor schedule for targets provided by customer based on practical productivity norms.
- Initiate delay analysis and mitigation plan. - Provide regular updates on project progress and any issues that arise
- Monitor and forecast demand of materials required by manpower and advise site team accordingly.
- Provide technical support and advice to the project team and coordinate with all other functions to create effective work culture focused on resource productivity for utmost customer satisfaction.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned as per requirement of the management
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Construction Project Resource Planning, Monitoring & Control, preferably in top EPC companies, with at least 3 years in a lead or managerial role
- Proficient in Master Schedules (MSP) for construction Projects wrt. practical productivity norms.
- Experience in Construction projects like Residential, Commercial, Building projects and not only from Infrastructure projects like metro, bridge, roads, powerplants, hydropower plants, hydroelectric projects etc.
