Manager - M&A Strategy & Commercial Due Diligence

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in M&A Strategy and Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) to support private equity and corporate clients in evaluating investment opportunities. The role involves conducting market assessments, commercial due diligence, growth strategy, competitive benchmarking, and value creation initiatives across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) engagements for M&A transactions.

- Conduct market sizing, industry analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer research.

- Evaluate target companies' commercial attractiveness, growth potential, and market positioning.

- Assess business models, revenue drivers, customer segments, pricing, and profitability.

- Develop investment theses and identify key risks and value creation opportunities.

- Perform strategic assessments for buy-side and sell-side transactions.

- Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and executive summaries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Deal Advisory, Financial Due Diligence, and Transaction Services.

- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and clients.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in Commercial Due Diligence (CDD).

- Hands-on exposure to M&A Strategy and transaction advisory.

- Expertise in market research, competitive intelligence, and growth strategy.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and financial modeling capabilities.

- Experience working with Private Equity clients is preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Experience:

- 5-10 years of experience in M&A Strategy, Commercial Due Diligence, Strategy Consulting, or Transaction Advisory.

- Experience with Big Four organizations is highly preferred.
