
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and other corporate transactions.
- Support end-to-end M&A tax advisory and transaction execution.
- Conduct tax due diligence and identify potential tax exposures, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide advisory on corporate tax, international tax, and cross-border transactions.
- Advise on FEMA and regulatory considerations relating to M&A and cross-border transactions.
- Assist in developing transaction structures from a tax and regulatory perspective.
- Prepare and review tax advisory reports, transaction documents, and client deliverables.
- Support clients with tax compliance and related corporate tax matters.
- Research and interpret changes in tax laws, regulations, and judicial developments.
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and other advisors on transaction-related assignments.
- Manage multiple assignments and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 - 6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in corporate tax compliance and/or tax advisory.
- Exposure to M&A / Deals / Transaction Advisory will be highly preferred.
- Good understanding of corporate taxation.
- Exposure to FEMA and international taxation.
- Experience in tax due diligence, transaction structuring, or M&A advisory is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage assignments and interact with clients.
