Manager - Logistics/Warehouse & Inventory

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end logistics operations including domestic and international shipments, freight negotiations, transport planning, and regulatory compliance.

- Manage warehouse planning and operations covering layout optimization, storage standards, safety protocols, and material-handling efficiency.

- Oversee inventory health through cycle counts, reconciliations, shrinkage control, and real-time stock visibility across all locations.

- Design, implement, and enforce SOPs for receiving, storage, kitting, quality checks, and dispatch to ensure adherence to service timelines.

- Build and manage a reliable vendor ecosystem for 3PLs, transporters, packaging partners, and warehouse infrastructure with continuous cost optimization.

- Track, analyze, and improve operational KPIs including turnaround time, order fill rate, freight cost, inventory accuracy, damage/loss, and returns handling.

- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, After-Sales, and Finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

- Drive digitization initiatives such as barcoding, WMS enhancements, and warehouse automation opportunities.

- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and logistics teams to ensure high productivity, discipline, and accountability.

- Ensure full statutory compliance related to logistics operations, warehousing norms, labor laws, and safety regulations.

Must-Have Skills:

- Strong hands-on expertise in logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management within fast-paced environments.

- Solid understanding of importexport operations, customs processes, and trade documentation.

- Proficiency with ERP systems and logistics/warehouse management tools.

- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.

- Effective people leadership with a strong execution focus.
