Manager - Logistics & Warehouse

Role Overview:

As a Logistics & Warehouse Manager, you will be at the heart of our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from origin to customer. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to optimize inventory levels, streamline warehouse processes, and manage transportation logistics. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands, reduce operational costs, and maintain a competitive edge in the market. This role is based in Gurgaon/Gurugram, Delhi NCR, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Nagpur, or Lucknow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize the flow of goods and minimize transportation costs.

- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

- Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock audits, and demand forecasting, to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or obsolescence.

- Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and freight forwarders to secure competitive rates and ensure timely delivery of goods.

- Implement and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and warehouse operations, such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turnover, to identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards in warehouse and transportation operations.

- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective logistics and warehouse strategies that drive operational efficiency and cost savings.

- Proven expertise in managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse layout optimization.

- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms with transportation providers and freight forwarders.

- In-depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their application in optimizing warehouse processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends to improve performance.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
