Job Title: Manager Logistics

1. JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure timely and efficient export shipment execution through effective vessel booking management, coordination with distributors, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and CHAs, while ensuring accurate and compliant export documentation for seamless international deliveries.

2. INTERACTION WITH STAKEHOLDERS:

- Internal: Direct Export BU, Marketing, Business Planning & NMD, Operations, Sales, Finance.

- External: Distributors, CHA, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Customs Brokers, and Government Agencies.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS :

- Educational Qualifications : Graduate (Any stream/branch).

Preferred : Degree/Diploma in International Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management.

- Work Exp: Min 4, Max 10 years.

- Industry: Auto Components, Automobile.

4. KEY COMPETENCIES:

- Technical/Functional: Export booking processes, vessel planning, international shipment execution, export documentation, INCOTERMS, international trade regulations, customs procedures, export compliance, ERP (SAP), shipment/booking management platforms.

- Behavioral: Leadership, team management, communication, coordination, attention to detail.

5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Export Booking Management: Plan and arrange export bookings, coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders, optimize shipping routes.

- Export Documentation Management: Prepare, verify, and release Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, FTA documents.

- Compliance & Country Requirements: Maintain documentation requirements, handle Hazardous/Non-Hazardous product classification, coordinate with government agencies.

- Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Resolve booking and documentation issues, support Finance in LC documentation.

- Data Management & Process Control: Maintain master data, monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports.

- Digital Initiatives & Automation: Drive digitization of workflows, implement tracking dashboards, support automation.

- Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor the Booking & Documentation team, allocate responsibilities, drive process improvement.
