Description:
Responsible for managing end-to-end logistics, warehouse, and CFA operations, ensuring efficient dispatch planning, cost control, compliance to quality systems, and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires strong coordination with sales, production, transporters, and warehouse teams while upholding safety, ethical standards, and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Budget Management:
- Create, manage, and achieve the overall logistics and CFA operations budget.
- Optimize dispatch operations to balance cost efficiency, service levels, and inventory control.
Dispatch Planning & Execution:
- Coordinate with the sales team to plan and execute dispatches, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare daily dispatch plans and share Open Sales Order details with relevant teams.
- Provide timely feedback to the sales team regarding dispatch status vs. sales requirements and highlight any expected delays.
Warehouse & Inventory Management:
- Ensure proper staging, loading, stacking, and alignment of dispatched material as per batch numbers and invoice specifications.
- Ensure all dispatched products meet packaging standards and comply with documentation requirements.
- Maintain warehouse hygiene and ensure proper handling of logistics assets.
- Conduct Finished Goods inventory checks, monthly/periodic cycle counts, and initiate timely write-offs/write-ons.
- Make quick decisions on returned materialreuse, repack, or disposalwhile minimizing scrap.
Team Leadership:
- Train, supervise, and ensure effective performance of loading/unloading teams, warehouse supervisors, and contractors.
- Promote ethical conduct in transporter interactions and ensure timely documentation and payment to service providers.
Systems, Compliance & Documentation:
- Generate commercial invoices in line with guidelines provided by the sales team.
- Prepare MIS reports, including customer complaint analysis and corrective action plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and all applicable operational procedures.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure dispatches meet 100% of planned schedules based on production planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes, accuracy, and service performance.
