Manager - Logistics

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Transportation & Delivery Planning Specialist to manage and optimise the movement of both liquid and solid biofuels between biomass processors and end consumers. This role is critical to ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery operations across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Schedule Planning:

- Develop delivery plans and schedules based on transactions on the platform.

- Provide operational plans to participants based on material availability from various locations.

Logistics & Transport Desk:

- Plan monthly, weekly, and daily deliveries.

- Ensure transporter allocation and dispatch adherence.

Operations Control:

- Monitor compliance and escalate non-compliance issues.

- Support market participants with operational challenges on the platform.

Data & Reporting:

- Complete platform delivery data and maintain accurate records.

- Prepare and manage reports and MIS for the Operations Head.

Process Improvement & Audits:

- Lead strategic initiatives to improve supply chain logistics processes.

- Conduct internal audits for delivery processes to maintain workflow efficiency.

Network Development:

- Build and manage a network of transport and logistics partners or own fleet for cost-optimized logistics services.

Experience Required

- 8-10 years in transportation planning, fleet management, or logistics operations (biofuels, energy, or related sectors preferred).
