Manager - Listed Equities

Overview:

Opportunity is for a large family office based out of Bangalore, with a dedicated investment team. A multi-asset investment platform with exposure across listed equities, unlisted businesses, and private equity funds, managing long-term proprietary capital. Backed by a diversified institutional legacy with a strong track record in large-scale real assets, the platform leverages deep ecosystem networks to invest patient capital across direct equities and managed strategies.

Role description:

1) Collaborate closely with the equities team to identify, evaluate, and invest in attractive opportunities within India's listed markets

2) Lead the sourcing, screening, and assessment of new investment opportunities aligned with the firm's preferred sectors

3) Drive deep, bottom-up research across focus sectors, develop investment theses, and generate actionable insights through continuous tracking of market data and trends

4) Oversee the development and review of financial models prepared by analysts, and ensure maintenance of all relevant investment documentation (sector notes, investment notes, legal and supporting materials)

5) Monitor the existing portfolio, including quarterly performance and results analysis, and present concise dashboards and insights to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making

Job specifications:

1) 6-8 Years of prior experience working in buy side research, equities funds, or family offices.

2) Good communication skills and ability to collaboratively work alongside the existing team.

3) Ability to see the bigger picture and help position the firm strongly in its spheres of focus.
