- Identify and pursue new licensing opportunities across industries such as media, publishing, education, film/TV production, corporates.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects; negotiate and close licensing deals.
- Build long-term relationships with content buyers, researchers, rights managers, and producers.
- Ability to conceptualize branded solutions leveraging archives and marquee TOI properties.
- Serve as the main point of contact for archival licensing inquiries.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored content solutions and pricing models.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay informed on industry trends, usage cases, and competitor offerings.
- Recommend pricing strategies and content packaging based on market feedback.
- Collaborate with editorial and archives teams to surface high-value content.
- Maintain accurate sales tracking and pipeline reports using CRM tools.
- Coordinate with legal and rights teams on contract execution and rights clearances.
