Role Overview:

The Last Mile Operations role is a critical position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the final stage of the delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers across various locations in India. This role involves collaborating with logistics partners, managing delivery personnel, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce operational costs. The Last Mile Operations Manager works closely with the supply chain, demand planning, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of delivery operations. The impact of this role is directly reflected in improved delivery times, reduced delivery failures, and enhanced customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of last-mile delivery operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce delivery costs, and improve delivery speed.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, delivery success rate, and customer satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with logistics partners and delivery personnel to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.

- Resolve delivery-related issues and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement in last-mile delivery operations.

- Work closely with the supply chain and demand planning teams to align delivery operations with inventory levels and customer demand.

- Implement and maintain technology solutions to enhance delivery tracking, communication, and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in last-mile delivery operations.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize last-mile delivery operations, including route planning, delivery scheduling, and performance monitoring.

- Proven expertise in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and logistics processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve delivery-related issues and customer complaints effectively.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, logistics partners, and delivery personnel.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a willingness to travel to different locations as needed.
