Role Overview:

As a Manager - Joint Ventures, based in Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our existing joint venture partnerships, as well as identifying and evaluating new opportunities for strategic alliances. Your day-to-day will involve financial analysis, forecasting, due diligence, and stakeholder management, ensuring that our joint ventures are performing optimally and contributing to the company's overall strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams across finance, legal, and operations, as well as external partners, including private equity firms and M&A advisors. This role directly impacts the company's growth strategy by ensuring successful joint venture performance and identifying new avenues for expansion and value creation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct comprehensive Financial Analysis of existing joint ventures, including variance analysis, profitability assessments, and identification of areas for improvement, to optimize financial performance and maximize returns for stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain detailed Financial Reporting packages and Dashboards to provide timely and accurate insights into joint venture performance for senior management and JV partners, enabling informed decision-making.

- Lead the Forecasting process for joint ventures, incorporating market trends, operational data, and strategic initiatives, to provide accurate projections and support resource allocation.

- Manage Stakeholder Management by building and maintaining strong relationships with JV partners, addressing their concerns, and ensuring alignment on strategic objectives, to foster collaboration and achieve mutual success.

- Conduct Due Diligence on potential joint venture targets, including financial, operational, and legal assessments, to identify risks and opportunities and inform investment decisions.

- Perform Valuation analysis of potential joint venture opportunities, utilizing various methodologies such as discounted cash flow, precedent transactions, and market multiples, to determine fair value and support deal negotiations.

- Support M&A activities related to joint ventures, including deal structuring, negotiation, and integration planning, to ensure seamless execution and value creation.

- Assist in the development and execution of Corporate Finance strategies related to joint ventures, including capital allocation, funding optimization, and risk management, to enhance financial performance and shareholder value.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis, enabling sound financial decision-making related to joint ventures.

- Proven ability to prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful financial reports and presentations to senior management and external stakeholders.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong understanding of Private Equity and M&A principles and practices, with experience in deal structuring, negotiation, and execution.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

- Adaptable to a dynamic work environment and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
