Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Global IT Infrastructure Manager to define, implement, and manage the companys IT infrastructure strategyincluding networks, cloud environments, servers, user endpoints, phones, printers, and user supportacross multiple global locations.
This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, combining technical depth, operational excellence, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will lead a distributed IT team, manage global vendors, and ensure the secure, scalable, and efficient delivery of infrastructure services worldwide.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies to drive scalability and innovation.
- Align infrastructure capabilities with long-term organizational objectives.
2. Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee design, deployment, and management of IT systems: networks, servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365).
- Ensure system reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery preparedness.
- Manage critical incident response and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.
- Lead and oversee global infrastructure projects and technology upgrades.
3. Service & Support
- Manage global helpdesk operations to deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Implement ITSM best practices to enhance service quality and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with external service providers for consistent and reliable delivery.
4. Security, Risk & Compliance
- Develop, enforce, and monitor cybersecurity policies, firewalls, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data protection policies.
- Continuously assess and mitigate IT infrastructure risks.
5. Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage global vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
- Develop and monitor IT infrastructure budgets, cost forecasts, and reports.
- Optimize resources for performance and cost efficiency.
6. People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team across regions.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work culture.
- Promote accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.
Qualifications & Skills :
Experience: 8+ years in IT infrastructure management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Exposure: Proven experience managing global or multi-site infrastructure operations.
Technical Expertise:
- Networking, servers, and virtualization (VMware)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365)
- Cybersecurity best practices and tools
- Leadership: Strong people management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft 365, Azure, Cisco, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent.
- Availability: Ability to support operations across multiple time zones.
