
Role Overview:
As an IT Audit Manager, you will be at the forefront of evaluating and enhancing the IT control environment for our clients. Your day-to-day will involve planning, executing, and reporting on IT audits, working closely with client stakeholders, IT teams, and other audit professionals. You will play a crucial role in identifying IT risks, assessing the effectiveness of IT controls, and providing recommendations for improvement, ultimately safeguarding our clients' data and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to audit methodologies and timelines, to deliver high-quality audit results for clients.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls across various IT domains, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT operations, to identify control gaps and weaknesses for client organizations.
- Develop and execute audit programs to assess IT risks and controls, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients for mitigating risks and improving their IT control environment.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders, fostering open communication and collaboration to drive positive change and improve IT governance within client organizations.
- Stay abreast of emerging IT risks, technologies, and regulatory requirements, providing thought leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and report on IT audits, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven expertise in IT risk management, IT compliance, and IT controls, including experience with frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- CISA certification is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Adaptable to a hybrid work environment, collaborating effectively with both on-site and remote team members.
