Role Overview: Seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager / Principal who will help manage investor engagement, coordinate fundraising processes, and support the leadership team in capital formation.
This role is ideal for someone from a strong academic background in engineering or finance, with 510 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or related fields, and a structured approach to fundraising execution and investor relations.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing data rooms, preparing presentations, coordinating investor outreach, and supporting the leadership team in LP discussions and due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective Limited Partners (LPs), including family offices, institutional investors, and strategic partners.
- Act as the key point of contact for LPs during diligence processes, answering detailed technical and financial questions.
- Collaborate with the companys leadership on investor messaging, fundraising strategy, and preparation of financial materials.
- Coordinate across teams to maintain accurate cap tables, financial models, and portfolio data required for investor updates.
- Drive fundraising operations, including pipeline tracking, follow-ups, and closing processes.
- Stay up to date on industry benchmarks, LP expectations, and market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic credentials With background in engineering, finance, or related fields.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Engineering or quantitative background with analytical rigor and structured thinking.
- Prior experience working within a fund (VC/PE), particularly in a capital formation or investor relations role, is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear messaging for investors.
- High attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- Exposure to global LPs (family offices, institutional investors, fund-of-funds) is a plus.
This role involves both front-end and back-end responsibilities.
The preferred qualifications are: B.Tech and MBA, strong academic scores (10th, 12th, etc.
Prior experience in a related industry is preferred, but were also open to candidates with 45 years of experience.
