Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Role:

- Responsible for business development in Capital Markets and Investor Relations offerings - from lead generation till closure.

- Possess strong client relationships that can lead to business opportunities.

- May be assigned a specific market/geography/solution/account or a set of clients for business development.

- Contribute to solution development and automate processes by developing tools.

Execution Role:

- Handle client-facing responsibilities across multiple investor relations advisory engagements.

- Create and present investment messaging to the investment community on behalf of clients.

- Monitor and present investor sentiment and feedback to client management regarding company performance.

- Advise clients on setting up IR departments, defining IR strategy, planning, and execution.

- Conduct perception analysis to assess how the investment community views company performance and communication.

- Perform IR benchmarking and recommend leading practices to enhance communication and collaterals.

- Develop content and deliver training on investor relations to promoters and senior management.

- Prepare IR collaterals such as presentations, press releases, and factsheets.

- Advise on Integrated Reports, Annual Reports, regulatory filings, and proxy statements.

- Guide clients on corporate governance, insider trading regulations, and other IR-related compliance requirements.

- Assist in organizing conferences, roadshows, earnings calls, and investor meetings.

Required Skills:

- Strong network within capital market participants - institutional investors, buy-side and sell-side analysts, merchant bankers, and financial stakeholders.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

- Strong analytical capabilities.

- Up-to-date with developments in capital markets and investor relations.

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SEBI LODR and SEBI PIT.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Experience with databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson One, and Ipreo.

Other Requisites:

- Act as a performance manager for junior staff.

- Lead and manage team responsibilities including staffing and appraisals.

- Actively contribute to training, coaching, and mentoring team members.

- Willingness to travel to client locations within India and internationally.

Qualification:

- CA / MBA / CFA with a strong academic background.

- 5-9 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, or Fund Management.
