Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Manager Investment Research to join the investment research team of a leading global financial technology and investment solutions organization. The role will involve providing high-quality fundamental credit research support to global asset managers, working closely with Portfolio Managers and senior research professionals.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in credit research, US/European capital markets, financial modelling, capital structure and covenant analysis, along with experience managing client deliverables and mentoring junior analysts.

Responsibilities:

- Provide credit research support to global asset managers investing across US and European loans and bonds.

- Initiate and maintain financial models, screeners, research notes and company/industry coverage.

- Conduct detailed capital structure, credit and covenant analysis, including review of relevant debt documentation.

- Prepare earnings summaries, credit outlooks and investment thesis/write-ups, highlighting key investment positives and risks.

- Communicate research findings and investment insights effectively to clients and senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of relevant experience in credit research/investment research.

- Strong exposure to US and/or European capital markets, particularly loans and bonds.

- Deep understanding of capital structure, corporate structure and debt documentation, including credit agreements and bond indentures.

- Strong experience in financial modelling, Excel and analytical research, with excellent attention to detail.

- Experience in preparing professional research reports, investment notes and credit write-ups.

- Experience working with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters/Eikon or similar financial databases.
