Manager - Investment Banking - Buy Side & Sell Side

Role Overview:

As an Investment Banking Manager, you will be at the forefront of executing buy-side and sell-side transactions, playing a critical role in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising activities. You will work closely with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to conduct comprehensive financial analysis, develop strategic recommendations, and manage the deal execution process from initiation to closing. Your work will directly impact our clients' strategic growth objectives and contribute to the firm's overall success in the dynamic Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, valuation modeling, and due diligence to support M&A transactions and capital raising efforts for clients.

- Prepare compelling pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations to effectively communicate transaction opportunities to potential investors and acquirers.

- Manage the deal execution process, coordinating with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors to ensure smooth and timely transaction closings for clients.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice on strategic financial matters to foster long-term partnerships.

- Identify and evaluate potential target companies and acquirers, conducting industry research and market analysis to generate new business opportunities for the firm.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform complex financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, M&A processes, and capital markets.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in investment banking or corporate finance.
