- The primary function of this role will be to design/configure the models/solutions to deliver highly optimized inventory plans (safety stock policies) which reduce inventory, maximize fill rates and deliver productivity. - Works independently to determine strategic deployment of product, based on resources (vendor production/availability, network capacities, etc.) and communicate decisions across cross-functional teams - Drives customer service, providing information, plans and communication at the warehouse level to support customer needs - Creates inventory flow solutions by providing support, guidance, and problem solving to cross-functional teams - Partner with demand planners in daily operation to improve the forecast accuracy and strategic planners to optimize the sourcing network. - This person will do deployment planning for all the warehouses - Will interact with only internal stakeholders like Sales, Logistics, Plant etc - Should be good in numbers, excels as lot of analytic work is required
