Manager - International Tax - IT/Consulting Firm

Skills: UK Corporate Tax || Alpha Tax || Real Estate || UK Corporation Tax

Educational Qualifications: A recognized tax and / or accountancy qualification (eg CTA, ACCA, ATT, CA), M.Com, MBA, or equivalent post-graduation degrees

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Excellent technical knowledge of International Tax concepts and emerging principles

- Sufficient technical knowledge of UK Tax to understand one or more specialized areas of work. RET tax exposure would be preferred

- Deal with all general correspondence on time, ensuring that clients have an effective and efficient service

- Review and challenge work done by the Associates / AM's being tax returns, tax compliance documents, and opinions, and help develop their skills and experience

- Review pitch documents made for the clients / potential clients

- Having account management skills and nurturing good client relationships while providing technical updates to clients

- Being Responsible for preparing the final draft of billing proposals for the relevant Director / Partner

- Complete all mandatory compliance training by the required deadline

- Ability to work under deadlines and demanding client conditions

- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Demonstrates high professional ethics

- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills

- Adaptable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment

- Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work without frequent direct supervision

- Act as a team player and provide extended support to the Director / Partner in meeting varied business requirements.

Must have attributes:

- Good experience in working on UK Tax / International Tax compliance and/or advisory assignments. Excellent exposure and understanding of concepts of international tax.

- RET tax exposure.

- Experience in Alphatax software
