Role Overview:
As the Manager - International Sales-South Africa Region, you will be instrumental in expanding the hospital's presence in the South African market. Your day-to-day will involve identifying and engaging with potential clients, nurturing existing relationships, and developing strategies to drive revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role directly impacts our company's international expansion efforts, contributing to increased revenue and brand recognition in a key strategic market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the South Africa region, targeting B2C segments, to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Identify and qualify leads within the South African market, focusing on medical tourism opportunities, to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the South African healthcare sector, informing strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, doctors, and potential patients, to facilitate business development.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials for the South African market, increasing brand awareness and lead generation.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences in South Africa, networking with potential clients and partners.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in international markets, particularly in Southern part of Africa.
- Proven experience in B2C sales, with a strong understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management.
- In-depth knowledge of the South African market, including its culture, business practices, and healthcare landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective sales plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
