About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to oversee cross-border logistics, client operations, and international shipping execution for our US-based logistics client in Chennai. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing key global client accounts, optimizing SOPs, and leading end-to-end supply chain workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Delivery Oversight:

- Lead international freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance processes to ensure seamless cross-border movement.

2. Account & Client Management:

- Serve as the primary operational lead for global enterprise clients, managing escalated inquiries and ensuring service-level agreement (SLA) compliance.

3. Process & SOP Optimization:

- Implement, monitor, and streamline international logistics SOPs, maintaining strict compliance with cross-border trade and customs regulations.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership:

- Coordinate across international operations, shipping teams, and local logistics partners to drive timely transaction closures and cost-effective execution.

5. Systems & Data Management:

- Leverage enterprise TMS, WMS, and CRM platforms to track supply chain metrics, drive efficiency, and ensure accurate documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of progressive experience in International Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or Global Trade Operations.

- Proven track record in managing cross-border trade regulations, customs compliance, and global shipping workflows.

- Strong leadership, client relationship management, and vendor negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in supply chain software, including TMS, WMS, and CRM systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for managing US and global stakeholders.
