Manager: Internal Audit Job Profile - Head, Internal Audit - Bombay Jewellery is a jewellery manufacturing company based in Mumbai, Seepz producing fine diamond studded jewellery for the international markets. - To assist the growth and expansion plans of the company, Bombay Jewellery is looking to hire a senior person to be the chief internal auditor for all operations. - The candidate should preferably be a chartered accountant (CA) and have in-depth experience with material audits in diamond, precious metal, jewellery or related industries. - The candidate should have excellent analytical skills to understand all stock-related operations, including purchase, material conversion, exports and losses, and breakage. Must have adequate interpersonal skills to oversee audit and MIS teams and interact with all departments related to stock operations. The responsibilities will include the following: - Verifying all stock-related transactions are done accurately - Verifying product weights, incoming, work in progress and finished goods - Conducting material stock audits daily, as needed, and monthly - Ensuring processes are put in place to reconcile differences in material weights and balances - Auditing material traceability, purchasing policy adherence and accounting policy adherence
