We are seeking a qualified and experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead and execute internal audit assignments, evaluate internal controls, and support risk management initiatives. The role involves close coordination with senior management to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute internal audit assignments in line with the annual audit plan
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and risk management frameworks
- Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and areas of risk; recommend practical and value-added solutions
- Lead end-to-end audit engagements including scoping, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up
- Prepare clear, concise, and impactful internal audit reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and SOPs
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulators as required
- Track implementation of audit recommendations and report status to management
- Support management in special reviews, investigations, and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor and guide junior audit team members
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks
- Hands-on experience in process audits, operational audits, and compliance reviews
- Good knowledge of accounting standards, corporate laws, and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and audit documentation tools
- High levels of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail
Preferred Background:
- Experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or assurance roles
- Exposure to multiple industries or large corporate environments is an advantage
