Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional for the role of Inside Sales - International Market, responsible for lead generation, client engagement, and supporting international sales execution. Although this is an individual contributor role, it demands strong managerial thinking, sales acumen, and ownership to drive outcomes independently. The role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to support international business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively call and connect with new international customers to create meeting opportunities for the sales team.
- Client Engagement: Establish rapport, influence decision-makers, and understand specific client requirements and buying behavior.
- Sales Support: Share tailored product catalogs, presentations, and information to potential customers based on their region and interest.
- Client Relationship Management: Follow up with existing customers as per planned schedules and maintain strong, professional relationships.
- CRM & Reporting: Update and manage call logs, sales funnel data, and customer interactions on Salesforce.
- Sales Funnel Monitoring: Prepare daily and weekly reports on lead status, conversion progress, and market response.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the sales team and marketing for synchronized customer communication and strategic outreach.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze outreach outcomes, refine messaging, and identify trends or improvement areas in the backend sales approach.
Key Competencies & Attributes:
- Strong communication and influencing skills with fluency in written and spoken English
- Language proficiency; French/ German / Spanish
- Flair for international business communication and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to establish quick rapport and build long-term customer relationships
- Sales planning mindset with the ability to handle multiple prospects across geographies
- Detail orientation in capturing client requirements and customizing outreach
- CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce
- High ownership, self-driven, and structured working style
- Strategic follow-up, pipeline management, and ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend or inside sales, preferably with international clients
- Exposure to B2B or luxury product segments (Jewelry, fashion, lifestyle) will be an advantage
- Proven ability to drive business conversations and convert leads into sales meetings
