Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Infrastructure Advisory practice as a Manager, specializing in financial modelling and valuation. The role involves leading complex modelling engagements across sectors such as renewable energy, transportation, and utilities, while managing client relationships and mentoring teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end financial modelling and valuation engagements for infrastructure assets/projects
Build and review complex models including:
- Project finance models (PPP, BOT, HAM structures)
- Renewable energy models (solar, wind)
- Bid and transaction models
Perform valuation analysis using :
- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
- Market comparables
- Net Asset Value (NAV)
Work on project financing structures :
- Debt modelling, DSCR, IRR analysis
- Financial close and bankability assessment
Support transaction advisory :
- Due diligence
- Investment analysis
- Bid advisory
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and present insights
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts/consultants
- Ensure quality control and timely delivery of projects
Key Skills & Competencies :
- Strong expertise in financial modelling (Excel-based)
- Deep understanding of infrastructure/project finance
Experience in sectors like :
- Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind)
- Power & Utilities
- Transport (roads, airports, tunnels)
Proficiency in :
- Advanced Excel, VBA
- Financial analysis & valuation techniques
Strong knowledge of :
- DCF, IRR, NPV
- Debt structuring & DSCR
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- MBA/PGDM (Finance) /CA/CFA (preferred)
- Experience in consulting firms or Big 4 (preferred)
- Exposure to international markets (US, UK, APAC) is a plus
Leadership Expectations :
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Team handling experience (5-10 members preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Client-facing experience with senior stakeholders
