Role: Influencer Marketing Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning;
- Develop, own, and execute end-to-end influencer marketing strategies across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and emerging social platforms (e.g, Threads, BeReal).
- Define KPIs and success metrics (reach, engagement rate, conversion, CAC, ROI, CPM, CPV) to ensure campaigns are aligned with brand and performance objectives.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify opportunities for brand positioning via influencer collaborations.
Influencer Identification & Onboarding:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard influencers/creators using analytics-driven tools (e.g, Upfluence, AspireIQ, Traackr, CreatorIQ).
- Assess influencer audience demographics, authenticity, engagement quality, and brand fit using data-backed validation (fake follower analysis, engagement authenticity, audience overlap).
- Build structured influencer tiers (nano, micro, macro, celebrity) and optimize mix based on campaign objectives and budgets.
Campaign Execution & Management:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing models (flat fee, CPA, revenue share, barter, gifting), and ensure cost-effective ROI-driven partnerships.
- Oversee briefing, content approval, and compliance checks (FTC guidelines, ASCI regulations, brand safety policies).
- Manage influencer relationships to ensure content quality, brand alignment, and timely deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (brand, creative, performance marketing) for integrated campaign execution.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze influencer campaign performance via tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Tagger, Sprout Social, or native platform insights.
- Provide detailed reports on engagement rate, impressions, conversions, CAC, ROI, and LTV impact.
- Optimize influencer mix and content types (Reels, Shorts, Lives, Podcasts, Carousels, Blogs) based on performance data.
Relationship Management & Networking:
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with influencers, talent agencies, and content creators.
- Leverage influencer networks for brand advocacy, ambassador programs, and community building.
- Stay updated on trends, regulations, algorithms, and competitor strategies to continuously refine campaigns.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven expertise in influencer marketing, preferably in consumer-facing brands, D2C, or e-commerce.
- Platform Knowledge: Strong understanding of social media algorithms, influencer ecosystems, paid + organic amplification strategies.
- Data Skills: Ability to interpret social media analytics, conversion data, influencer ROI metrics, and translate them into actionable insights.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent skills in influencer outreach, contract negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
- Tech & Tools: Hands-on experience with influencer discovery and analytics platforms, campaign tracking dashboards, and CRM tools.
- Execution Ability: Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative Eye: Understanding of content trends, storytelling, and platform-specific content formats
