
Job Summary:
As a Manager, you will lead Enterprise Strategy and Technology Architecture initiatives for Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets clients. You will define enterprise architecture vision, develop target-state architectures and modernization roadmaps, advise senior stakeholders, and ensure technology investments are aligned with business outcomes, regulatory requirements and measurable value realization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic and architecture SME for Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets clients.
- Define enterprise architecture vision aligned with business strategy and growth objectives.
- Develop current-state, target-state and transition architectures.
- Identify capability gaps and opportunities for digital transformation, automation and modernization.
- Lead architecture and modernization initiatives across core banking, payments, lending, wealth, insurance and digital platforms.
- Define system interaction models across channels, middleware, core systems and external ecosystems.
- Provide build-vs-buy recommendations and support technology/product evaluations.
- Establish architecture governance, principles, standards and guardrails.
- Embed regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, data governance, risk and resilience into architecture.
- Translate target architectures into multi-year transformation roadmaps.
- Define migration waves, sequencing, priorities and transition architectures.
- Partner with CIO/CTO, business, product, technology, risk and compliance stakeholders.
- Ensure architectural coherence across multiple programs and technology portfolios.
- Define KPIs and value-realization mechanisms to track business benefits.
- Support client solutioning, executive presentations, consulting and business development activities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in Enterprise/Technology Architecture and Strategy Consulting.
- Deep experience in Banking, Insurance or Capital Markets.
- Experience defining current, target and transition architectures.
- Strong understanding of banking/financial-services products, processes and regulatory landscape.
- Experience with one or more relevant platforms such as Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube, BaNCS, Mambu, Avaloq, Finastra, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Calypso, Murex or FIS Trading Suite.
- Good understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, enterprise integration and data architecture.
- Understanding of AI, GenAI and Agentic AI use cases in financial services.
- Knowledge of architecture and industry frameworks such as TOGAF, BIAN, Zachman, ISO 20022, SWIFT or Open Banking is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage and influence C-suite, CIO and CTO stakeholders.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
