Location: Bengaluru (Electronic City)

Job Type: Full-time

The Opportunity:

The InDirect Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in managing Ultrahuman's indirect tax function, including domestic and international tax compliance, advisory, and planning. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong mix of consulting and industry experience, global exposure, and deep understanding of tax laws, audits, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in indirect tax management

- Experience with Indian GST laws and international indirect tax regimes

- Experience with Indirect tax planning and strategy

- Experience with Customs and import/export tax management

- Experience with Cross-border transaction analysis

- Experience with Tax process automation and optimization

- Experience in managing tax compliance for global operations

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage indirect tax compliance for India and international jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings.

- Advise on GST, VAT, and other indirect tax matters, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and business units.

- Monitor changes in indirect tax legislation across relevant countries and assess their impact on business operations.

- Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities to resolve queries, audits, and assessments efficiently.

- Develop and implement robust processes for indirect tax reporting, documentation, and risk management.

- Support cross-border transactions by evaluating indirect tax implications and recommending optimal structures.

- Train and mentor team members on indirect tax regulations, compliance procedures, and best practices.
