- Deliver of Indirect Tax operations activities in line with Global Syngenta Standards (GSM), and other applicable Indirect tax policies and procedures   - Assure Indirect tax Accounting, reporting & Audit / assessment certifications per respective countries regulatory requirements  - Assure compliance of Indirect tax i.e. payment, returns and reporting  - Participate in design & development and implement Region's Indirect Taxation strategies and models (Including Systems and processes) in line global guidelines  - Optimize tax costs and facilitate risk mitigation  - Maintain highly compliant culture through continuous review and improvement of functional process and engagement with internal & external stakeholders  - Managing Third party service providers for compliance, tax advisors etc.  - Support Business Facing for tax audit and litigations.   Indirect Tax :  Ensure as below :  Tax compliance - Tax payments, fillings, certifications for Indirect tax ( which includes Central Excise, Service tax, Sales tax (VAT & CST), EOU, STPI, FEMA, FTP etc.),   - Tax Accounting, Reporting, and litigation reporting  - Support for local Tax Audits and litigations in VAT and GST   - System & Process change management (Policies, guideline, instructions)  - Ensure effective and sustainable implementation of ICF Controls compliance & RMIS Controls related to Tax.  - To contribute to business performance enhancement through effective Tax planning and strategies which are alignment to overall business strategies  - Accountable for facilitation (support) of external audits by tax and/or other authorities regarding indirect tax obligations and minimize risk exposure in terms of tax liabilities  - Coordination of 3rd party service providers (Tax Consultants / Auditors etc.) and service delivery management including performance KPIs,  - Support Group Tax in tax optimizations projects,   - Play an active role in cashflow management (Tax credit) and realizing tax assets  - Design and ensure existence of required supporting documentation for compliance purposes  - Effective engagement with key stakeholders including collaboration with Trade Affairs and P&S   - Responsible for implementation of Goods and Service Tax ( GST)   - Relevant experience and/or qualification for competence in tax and statutory accounting and reporting  - Track record of compliance culture maintenance and enforcement.
