About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join one of Indias leading retail brands. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Retail HR operations, Training & Development, and Talent Acquisition, with the ability to align people strategies to organizational growth and business performance.
This is a pivotal role for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric retail environment and enjoys building scalable systems and high-impact teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end HR function across multiple retail locations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Drive Talent Acquisition initiatives to attract, assess, and retain top retail talent.
- Develop and implement Retail Training Programs to enhance employee productivity and customer experience.
- Partner with business leaders to execute performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll coordination, compliance, and administrative management.
- Support policy formulation, HR audits, and ensure adherence to statutory and organizational requirements.
- Build a strong HR governance model through effective documentation, reporting, and communication channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, fostering a positive, transparent, and performance-driven work culture.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 7 to 15 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the Retail or Consumer-facing industry.
- Proven experience in Retail Training, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement.
- Sound understanding of HR operations, statutory compliance, and administrative functions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive initiatives across distributed teams.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or similar) will be an added advantage.
