- We are looking for a Human Resources Manager, to manage Human Resources for a manufacturing plant in Maharashtra, for our client, a top European OEM.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

- Develop appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic, changing environment and develop / implement appropriate change management plans as required

- Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource (HR) functions including all aspects of hiring, onboarding, employee and labor relations, compensation and Benefits, employee involvement, training and communication.

Recruitment & selection

- Perform a leadership role in recruiting, selection, performance management and career development including tools and implementation. Conduct reference checking; extends job offers; conduct new-employee orientations; monitors employee training, career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews.

Performance Management

- Manage the annual performance review, merit and bonus campaigns

- Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.

Training & Development:

- Identify & assess the training needs (Technical & Managerial) at the organization / individual level.

- Facilitate the training process from identifying the source to evaluating the effectiveness of the training.

Grievance Handling & Counselling

- Conduct employee investigations and resolution with labor relations issues.

- Serve as an advisor and coach to leaders and employees.

- Facilitate communications throughout the organization.

HR Procedures and Policies, HRMS

- Deploy company policies within the sites. Make recommendations for policy improvements. Ensures implementation and compliance.

- Serves as the designated expert in interpretation of Indian policy issues

- Manages Human Resources Management System (HRMS), making changes and updates when necessary and guiding employees and managers on the self-service tools.

- Ensure integrity of HR data in the Human Resources Management system and all maintain other required employee records. Adhere quality controls and standards for data accuracy.

Health, Safety, Environment

- Provide leadership and expertise for the Health and Safety Environment (HSE) functions.

- Coordinate HSE within the site to ensure all regulatory provisions are being applied. You will be responsible for implementing and supervising industrial safety and environmental programs to prevent or correct risky and health working conditions, establishing prevention and environmental protection measures to comply with legal requirements, international certifications and the company's internal policies and procedures.

- Performs other incidental and related duties required and assigned.

Competencies:

Required Education and Experience:

- MBA degree with fifteen years' Human Resources experience

- Proven experience in HR management, health & safety, and facility management

- Previous experience with automated HRIS systems required.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

- Must be able to handle multiple projects, changing priorities and be deadline sensitive.

- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.

- Strong coaching skills.

- Ability to relate with employees at all levels.

- Intermediate to advance Excel and MS Word skills.

- Must be able to work independently and have strong problem solving skills.

- Customer Service oriented.

Work Environment

This job operates in both a shop floor setting
