Human Resources Manager

Job Summary :
- Menschen Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR functions in Navi Mumbai.
- The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a strong generalist background, capable of managing the full spectrum of human resources responsibilities.
- This role requires a proactive partner who can align HR strategies with organizational goals, foster a positive employee experience, and ensure compliance with all labor laws. With 12+ years of experience, you will play a critical role in shaping our workforce and driving our company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Partner with senior leadership to understand organizational goals and align HR strategies, policies, and programs to support business objectives.
- Contribute to strategic discussions regarding workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all HR-related matters.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from requisition to offer, ensuring the attraction and selection of top talent.
- Develop and implement innovative and effective talent acquisition strategies to improve candidate sourcing, selection, and time-to-hire.
- Oversee the seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring a positive integration into the company culture and timely completion of all necessary documentation.
Performance Management & Development:
- Design, implement, and manage robust performance management systems (e.g., goal setting, performance reviews, feedback mechanisms).
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on performance expectations, feedback delivery, and career development.
- Identify training and development needs across the organization and facilitate appropriate learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
- Manage and administer the company's payroll processes accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, provident fund, gratuity, and other statutory and non-statutory benefits.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation and benefits structures.
- Compliance & Labor Management (Industrial Relations - IR):
- Ensure strict compliance with all Indian labor laws, acts, and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, PF Act, ESI Act, Gratuity Act, Contract Labour Act).
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and disputes, while ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience in Industrial Relations (IR), including handling trade unions (if applicable), collective bargaining, and maintaining harmonious employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and organizational best practices.
- Manage statutory audits and inspections related to HR and labor compliance.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement and well-being.
- Address employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Organize employee engagement activities and initiatives to boost morale and foster a strong company culture.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate (PG) degree in Human Resources (e.g., MBA - HR) or a relevant equivalent professional qualification.
- 12+ years of progressive and hands-on experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion in a generalist or managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience in Industrial Relations (IR) is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong track record in successfully designing and improving talent acquisition strategies and processes.
- Proven ability to effectively train, coach, and guide managers and employees on HR best practices, performance management, and employee development.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliances, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Superior critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to HR solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport at all levels of the organization.
- High level of attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
