Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to support business growth through workforce planning and talent management.
- Foster a positive organizational culture that aligns with the firms values.
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Oversee employee training and development programs to support continuous professional growth.
- Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and strengthen employee engagement.
Employee Relations & Performance
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and developing staff.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain HR records in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Oversee workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
Operational HR Management
- Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to senior leadership.
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency of HR processes and employee experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a management role (experience in professional services or accounting/bookkeeping firms preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on operational responsibilities.
- Experience with cloud-based HR tools desirable.
